Saving a video is a promise to come back, and the recommendation system treats it as a signal in the same family as shares: proof that a viewer did more than let the clip play. The count is public, next to the bookmark icon, and on most videos it is the smallest number on the screen, so a modest batch is visible.

The form takes a video link from a public account, short or full. There is no setting that turns saves off on a video, so the only thing that blocks delivery is a private or friends-only clip. Saves arrive within about an hour, the count updates as they land, and they are kept. They do not add views, hearts, comments or shares, each of which has its own service here.
