The details
When X made view counts public, the way posts are read changed. The number under a post is now the first fact a visitor learns about it, before likes, before replies, and a post showing a dozen views is one nobody will engage with, because engaging would make them the first. This service lifts that number.
Views arrive quickly. A view is counted when the post loads, so a batch of 200 lands within minutes and the counter updates almost immediately. The target is a post link in the form x.com/username/status/number, from the share icon under the post; twitter.com links are rewritten. The post must be public: protected accounts, deleted posts and posts with reduced visibility cannot be reached. Replies and quote posts qualify.
Views are the natural first send on a fresh post. Once the counter shows a few hundred, the post looks like something people saw, and likes or reposts, from this site or from real readers, land on a number that makes sense. Views do not add likes, replies or reposts, each of which shows separately.
